I just wanted to say thank you

The STAR Project were given this beautiful poem from a young person who received support from them and we wanted to share Freya's words and journey.

Dear Eveline and everyone at STAR,

I just wanted to say thank you.

Thank you for listening to me and making me feel heard.

Thank you for making sense of the chaos that was my mental state.

Thank you for giving me a safe space to say everything I needed and feel cared for.

Thank you for understanding me even when I didn't.

Thank you for making difficult concepts easy to understand.

Thank you for giving me a realistic goal which, thanks to you, I have been able to achieve.

Thank you for believing in me.

Thank you for helping me find the right words.

Thank you for helping me through something I thought I was never going to get past.

Thank you for helping me become the happiest and the most at peace I've been in years, if not ever.

Thank you for helping me find me again.

Thank you for helping me and so many others.

Thank you for everything.

Freya ♥
